Christine Mazurek, Founding Partner
Christine “Christy” Mazurek is a passionate trial attorney with a longstanding commitment to representing clients in their family law matters involving divorce, child custody, custody modification, child support, parental rights, and property division, grandparent rights, and other family law cases. Christy understands litigation can be a difficult and an overwhelming time. She strives to provide high quality representation and guidance to each client from the time a case is initiated to final trial.
Christy's hand-on experience of working in the trenches as a paralegal for over two decades has provided her with a unique and solid foundation for segueing into practice as an attorney.
Christy received her Bachelor's in paralegal studies from Texas Wesleyan University, where she graduated magna cum laude. The legal knowledge Christy gained as a paralegal and her passion for helping others led her to attend law school at the University of North Texas Dallas College of Law. In law school, Christy's attended the part-time program at night and her desire to be a zealous advocate helped her to balanced her coursework while also working a full-time job in the legal field.
Christy knows that achieving the best possible result in each case is dependent on thoroughly listening to the client, understanding and analyzing the client’s specific facts and circumstances, and ultimately being a voice for that client.
Christy has the unique ability to analyze family law cases from a paralegal, attorney, and client perspectives because of her diverse legal experience and her personal background. While the path to becoming a lawyer was a long one, it was undoubtedly rewarding because now Christy can zealously advocate for her clients as a practicing licensed Texas attorney.
